ABV: 6.7% Style: White IPA
The Miami Canal connecting Dayton and Cincinnati was completed in 1829. Legend has it that a group of smugglers used the waterway under the cover of darkness to trade for hops and beer. This White IPA is dedicated to those risk-takers. Hop Smuggler features citrus and fruity flavors from the Vic Secret and Centennial hops, spices such as Coriander, Grains of Paradise and citrus peels, and a light and nutty malt character. The brew has a very bitter finish and the Belgian yeast character compliments the fruity character of the hops and spices. Cheers, smugglers!
